THE BRISBANE SATELLITE MABF KEPK BEST BOOK LAUNCH

Our physical presentation of the BEST ANTIPODEAN PHOTOBOOK as part of a satellite Melbourne Art Book Fair event was thwarted by the Queensland Government’s re-introduction of a lockdown after the discovery of local cases of COVID community transmission.

The team at KEPK – Thomas Oliver , Kyla Ingham , Miranda Everingham operated the technology and I presented a brief introduction followed by a look at, and a brief comment, about each of the ANTIPODEAN BEST PHOTOBOOKS of 2020.

The Live Stream was well attended.

I was also able to introduce the SELECTED ANTIPODEAN STUDENT PHOTOBOOKS List as well.

In my presentation I was able to make the following statements about this yearly  ‘Best Books’project …

It presents the variety of book products from personal limited edition self-published projects to large volume trade books made by local photographers, publishers, designers and printers in the Australian and New Zealand region.
